All of our externally advertised roles are uploaded to our website, and you can apply for these roles via our online system.
You can apply for vacancies at the CSP using our eRecruitment system. First time applicants must register before applying, Once you have done this if you wish to apply for any future roles you can log in with the user name and password from your previous application. The system will store the personal details you provided previously so you will not need to complete them again unless you wish to update them.
If you cannot use our system,you can request an application form by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, quoting the job title of the role you wish to apply for. Please note that we do not accept CVs as applications.
During the shortlisting process we consider the information you provide about your qualifications, previous roles, and most importantly the Personal Statement section. You must provide clear evidence here that you meet the person specification for the role. The strongest applications provide examples from their previous experience that demostrate how they meet each single criteria on the person specification.
We are part of the Positive About Disabled People scheme, which means that we will ensure that any candidates declaring a disability are assessed on the essential criteria of the person specification only. Any candidates declaring a disability who meet the essential criteria for the role will be shortlisted for interview.
If you are unsuccessful after the application stage you will be notified by email, within a week of the closing date. If you are shortlisted for interview you will be invited by email within a week of shortlisting to log onto the eRecruitment system and book an interview timeslot.
After you log in you will be advised on screen of any preparation you need to do in advance, such as a presentation, or any tasks you will need to complete in addition to the interview on the day. You will also be advised if you need to bring anything with you to the interview, we ask all candidates to bring evidence of their right to work in the UK, usually their passport.
You will also be asked at this stage to let us know if you have any special requirements to allow you to attend the interview. Please note that we do not pay for interview expenses.

All interviews are carried out by a panel of three people. We ask all candidates the same pre-prepared questions, based on the person specification for the role.
If successful after interview, the recruiting manager will contact you and make a conditional verbal offer. If you accept, references will be requested for the last 5 years of your employment. One of your referees should be your current or most recent employer.
All offers of employment are made subject to satisfactory references, evidence of your right to work in the UK and of any relevant qualifications for the job role and the completion of a medical questionnaire.
