Annual Representative Conference (ARC) Agenda Committee vacancies

The ARC Agenda Committee is seeking four new members to help determine the business of ARC, oversee the format of the Conference, and ensure that it is responsive to the membership.

A strong performing committee must have a good mix of knowledge, experience and backgrounds to reflect the diversity of the physiotherapy profession and the CSP’s membership. All CSP members including students and associates can apply for the roles.

 

Who are we looking for?

Members who are interested and passionate about furthering the role of the organisation and (when necessary) holding it to account.

Role 

The Annual Representative Conference (ARC) Agenda Committee determines the business of ARC, in line with ARC’s purpose as an advisory body of the CSP Council.

  • The Committee will considersubmitted motions and oversee the management of motions.
  • The Committee will include a range of formats and approaches in the ARC agenda to encourage debate on key strategic and topical issues, to facilitate good engagement between ARC representatives and the CSP Council.

Timetable

The deadline for submissions is noon on Monday 8 July 2019.

Application process

Applications will be reviewed and shortlisting will be based on how well applicants demonstrate meeting the criteria outlined in the person specification.

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by Monday 22 July.

Interviews

The appointment panel will conduct a 30-minute interview by telephone or video-conference w/c Monday 5 August, so it would be helpful to check your availability for that week.

Results

Council will consider and confirm appointments by Friday 23 August and all candidates, whether successful or not, will be notified by 30 August.

The first ARC Agenda Committee meeting will take place on Thursday 5 September.
