Key Features

This is a 3 years full-time BSc (Hons) course and, due to its modular structure, there is no advanced standing so candidates must complete all 3 years. The course itself comprises periods of intense study and is challenging academically, practically and clinically.

Entry Requirements

Preferably 300 points, either three 6 unit awards, one of which must be a Biological science or Physical Education, grade B. Consideration may be given to the 4th subject studied at AS level for the purpose of accumulating points, providing it is an appropriate subject. Level 3 Key Skills will not count towards the tariff score. General Studies will not count towards the tariff score

Through UCAS. Application process entails enhanced CRB check, interview and occupational health check.

Further Info

The first 18 months of the course is academic and practical in nature and based in Eastbourne. The next phase - Clinical Education - consists of 7 monthly placements in a variety of hospitals throughout the Southeast. The final semester is in Eastbourne for dissertation completion.
