Devo Manc and employment

The CSP has been involved early on in plans to devolve powers over health in Manchester to try to secure the best outcomes for staff and patients.

As a union, the CSP has been involved in ensuring physiotherapy staff have a voice through suitable partnership arrangements, and in seeking assurances on employment standards and protections for NHS services and funding.

The CSP has been working closely with the TUC and other health unions and has participated in, or had input into a number of high level meetings with decision-makers.

In December the North West TUC signed a Partnership Agreement with the City of Manchester on devolution, which makes commitments on employment terms and conditions.
