Research networks

There are many different groups across the UK supporting research in the profession. Networks can provide advice and assistance to individuals wishing to use research in their practice, or to undertake research themselves.

Allied Health Professions Research Network

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is the major funder of the Allied Health Professions Research Network (AHPRN).

The AHPRN is a national network of locally responsive research Hubs and welcomes students, new and experienced researchers, clinicians, managers, consultants and academics from all Allied Health Professions.

The local Hubs provide bespoke support for an individual’s  research needs, either by offering 1:1 support or signposting to an expert in that field. Most of the Hubs provide free of charge workshops and seminars to further your research skills.
