AHPRN: Welcome

Professor Ann Moore introduces the AHPRN and the regional hubs, encouraging researchers, facilitators and health professionals to get involved.

File 105768

A very warm welcome to the Allied Health Professions Research Network (AHPRN), where you can find details of of the AHPRN core executive and regional hubs. I hope you will be enthused by the activities taking place within the hubs, and that you will be stimulated to either get involved or to take a more facilitatory role in your local hub.

The AHPRN is here to support, nurture and encourage clinicians, academics, managers and researchers to engage in research activities that can support all our professions. Each of the professions included in the AHPRN have major strengths in terms of research and in growing their own evidence bases.

The AHPRN gives a phenomenal opportunity for all members of the Allied Health Professions to share their expertise and knowledge. Whether it is to discuss a methodological approach, discuss the results of qualitative/quantitative/mixed methods, or the potential impact these findings, there is something of interest to everyone at local Hub events.

So, welcome to our website. I hope you find it useful. I look forward to sharing hub developments and research news with you and hope to see you at one of our AHPRN events soon.

With very best wishes,

Professor Ann Moore
AHPRN core executive
