CSP research funding

CSP research funding comes from an annual funding round made by the CSP Charitable Trust.

Physiotherapy Research Foundation

The PRF has two aims:

  1. to build knowledge in the professions by funding research that informs and improves clinical practice and clinical effectiveness
  2. to build research capacity in the profession by providing novice researchers with opportunities to gain funding to enhance their research skills and experience

The funding allocation for 2012 is £188,500, split across two schemes:

  • Funding scheme A: Grants up to £128,500 for experienced researchers
  • Funding scheme B: Grants up to £20,000 for novice researchers

There is a two-stage application process. Outline applications should be submitted by email by 16 March.

If you are shortlisted you will be invited to submit a full application later in the year.
