Physiotherapy Research Foundation
The PRF has two aims:
- to build knowledge in the professions by funding research that informs and improves clinical practice and clinical effectiveness
- to build research capacity in the profession by providing novice researchers with opportunities to gain funding to enhance their research skills and experience

The funding allocation for 2012 is £188,500, split across two schemes:
- Funding scheme A: Grants up to £128,500 for experienced researchers
- Funding scheme B: Grants up to £20,000 for novice researchers
There is a two-stage application process. Outline applications should be submitted by email by 16 March.
If you are shortlisted you will be invited to submit a full application later in the year.
