Quality Assurance Standards

The Quality Assurance Standards are for all CSP members: qualified, associates and students.

The Quality Assurance Standards are divided into ten sections, with the full criteria and audit tool available under each section.

The cornerstone of our professionalism, the standards (found on the left-hand menu and also in the table below) have been developed alongside the quality assurance audit tool to promote and assure quality in clinical practice and service delivery. 

The standards aim to support CSP members in assuring and demonstrating the standard of physiotherapy care and services, while helping them deliver safe and effective services.

The standards also provide a marker for CSP members and those who purchase or use physiotherapy services on which to assess the standard of a local physiotherapy service or care.

The CSP welcomes feedback on any aspect of the Quality Assurance Standards. Please email the society to begin.

CSP members are expected to meet the professional values as found in the CSP Code of Professional Values and Behaviour.
