CSP Charitable Trust Education Awards

File 141803The CSP Charitable Trust actively supports members by offering a variety of annual educational awards.

Qualified members can also apply for Charitable Trust funding for

Research awards

Charitable Trust educational awards are open to student, associate and qualified members in the following categories:

  • Academically accredited courses (excluding physiotherapy qualifying degrees): there are two deadlines per year in the spring and autumn. The next application deadline is Tuesday 21 March
  • Conference and presentation awards: the next application deadline is Thursday 1 September and the application process will be open from 1 July 2017
  • Education and development placements awards (incorporating the Joe Jeans awards, the International Development Award and the Baroness Robson Travel Scholarship): the next application deadline is Tuesday 21 March.

Funding for the above awards is made through the CSP Educational Awards Panel.

Applying for an educational award

All applications are assessed on a competitive basis and should demonstrate a focus on achieving the following priorities:

  • patient/public benefit 
  • physiotherapy leadership 
  • development of the physiotherapy workforce and profession.

All applications to the Educational Awards Panel will be prepared, submitted and assessed through the CSP ePortfolio.

The planned upgrade to the Educational Wards Application section of ePortfolio is currently being completed, with the aim of completion by the end of February.

Therefore, a temporary application process below has been created to allow you to prepare your application in advance.
