International exchange programmes
Students and recent graduates are often eligible for places on international exchange programmes such as Erasmus and Leonardo.
Community-based rehabilitation
The concept of community-based rehabilitation was developed nearly 30 years ago by the World Health Organisation to widen the reach of rehabilitation services in under resourced areas.
Originally part of primary health care, CBR is now described as 'a strategy for rehabilitation, equalization of opportunities, poverty reduction and social inclusion of people with disabilities':
