Continuing professional development:

Development of three tier CPD awards. Each level asks for a submission of a portfolio demonstrating formal and experiential learning. Acquiring a mentor and acting as a mentor later up the ladder of development is expected. The three levels reflect the development of a physiotherapist involved in sports and exercise medicine. The ACPSEM has also been working with UK sport to develop an elite level for these awards and is promoting these levels within the sports community.

The website has public and members-only areas. ACPSEM and external courses are advertised along with jobs and news. Guidance on the CPD pathway includes mapping courses to the bronze, silver and gold levels. Members can access discount codes for several products and services.
