Charlotte, 23, from Markfield, Leicestershire, was presented with the award on 24 November 2008 at a ceremony at the Hotel Russell, London.
Charlotte’s colleague, Claire Bennett, said, “Charlotte’s positive personality, enthusiasm and skill as a physio have made her extremely popular with the children she treats, their parents, and staff alike. The best evidence of how Charlotte enhances the experience of patients is the fact that so many of her children actually enjoy coming to their sessions.
“Charlotte makes a huge difference to all her patients - but one little boy in particular has shown a marked improvement as a result of Charlotte’s input and for the first time in years is now able to walk in school.”
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Awards 2008 celebrate the achievement of chartered physiotherapists who are delivering excellent services to patients, pushing the boundaries of practice, and engaging in research to the benefit of the profession.
