Welcome to Thorpes Physiotherapy Ltd

Our multi-award winning team of 13 Chartered Physiotherapists, led by Jonathan Smith exist to educate, motivate, treat and inspire our patients to a more mobile, active and painfree life.

We offer a range of different skills ranging Clinical Specialists in Upper limb, Lower limb and Spinal conditions, Neurology and Sports Rehabilitation.  Jonathan is one of only 4 Course Principles for The Society Of Musculoskeletal Medicine and lectures regularly around the UK. 

We have 3 clinics within Berkshire and Hampshire, our main location is in Sandhurst and offers 3 large treatment rooms,a studio, full time reception, a waiting area with complimentary drinks, a gym and ample free private car parking. 

We have a clinic in the Senses Wellness Centre and Spa at the Hamsphire Lakes Retirement Village in Yateley and have access to state of the art rehab equipment and Hydrotherapy pool. 

Our third clinic is a purpose build physiotherapy centre in Fleet.  We therefore have high quality facilitates at a range of locations to suit your preferences

Whether you are fit or unfit, young or old our team of chartered physiotherapists can help you. A chartered physiotherapist is an expert in the examination of movement and posture. This expertise is informed by an in-depth knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and physiology. Physiotherapy treatments are used to correct and rehabilitate the following problems:

  • back and neck pain
  • all joint and muscular injuries
  • sporting injuries and pain
  • ligament and tendon injuries
  • chronic pain and weakness
  • running injuries and problems
  • work related injuries
  • post surgical rehabilitation
  • neurological rehabilitation

What to expect

In a Thorpes physiotherapy consultation you will be guided through a comprehensive history and physical examination to determine exactly what your problem is and outline the best and most effective treatment program possible. At the end of your initial assessment we will give you a detailed action plan and estimated recovery time - so you know exactly what to expect. Your physiotherapist will use a combination of joint mobilisation, stretching, manual therapy, electrotherapy; ultrasound, acupuncture and structured exercise programs to get you back to health.
