If you have or have had cancer and would like experienced physiotherapy support with symptoms from treatment or illness, please feel free to contact me.

I have experience of treating people before their initial surgery, during recovery and if that is not possible, until the end of their lives.

After thorough assessment, when you can explain what you need and hope for, I can suggest how I think I can help you - perhaps with:

  • Treatment for tightness and scarring from surgery or radiotherapy.
  • Exercises and stretching to increase your strength, support your joints and regain as much movement as possible.
  • Treatment for cording/axillary web syndrome.
  • Advice regarding managing breathlessness and pacing your activities if you get tired easily.

I have recently established the physiotherapy element of a breast surgery and reconstruction team as well as working in a hospice for twelve years. The fascial mobilisation technique I have been using since 2006 can give significant relief from tightness caused by surgery, accidents and radiotherapy allowing an increase in quality and quantity of movement.

I would also be pleased to hear from you if you would like some direction after eg a joint replacement or you are stiff and sore after having a plaster cast removed.

If you are wishing to optimise your potential, perhaps after a stroke, accident or operation, I would be very glad to see how I can help.

Please feel free to contact me.
