The Independent Physiotherapy Service (Port Talbot) is an established private physiotherapy service. We have 6 clinics across South Wales.

As well as our Port Talbot location, we have clinics in Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, Port Talbot Porth and Brynmawr (the details of these clinics can also be found on the Physio2u).

Our Port Talbot clinic is situated in a modern gym facility and is therefore perfect for gym based rehabilitation.

We treat many clients here who have sustained catastrophic injuries in road traffic accidents. We work with these clients for many months to help them achieve the best possible recovery and function.

Our head physiotherapist Gareth Tremain, is our specialist in assessing and treating patients with catastrophic orthopaedic injuries. He has also prepared many comprehensive reports for personal injuries solicitors and case managers dealing with these cases.  He has undertaken specialist training with 'The Medicolegal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists' in order to be qualified to provide these reports.

All of our physiotherapists have degrees in physiotherapy.

They are all members of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and The Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), which proves they are chartered and meet the highest standards of the profession.

See the 'meet the team' section on our website to appreciate the variety and depth of experience and skills that our physiotherapists possess.

We treat a wide variety of conditions within our clinics, including sports injuries, sciatica, lower back pain, neck pain, frozen shoulder to name only a few.

Our physiotherapists are skilled in using a number of treatment techniques to treat these conditions.

Treatment techniques our physiotherapists use include corticosteroid injections, acupuncture, spinal manipulation, joint mobilisation, massage, ultrasound, electrotherapy, exercise advice and taping.

All of our clinics are situated in convenient locations, with free parking and disabled access.

If you would like to discuss your condition and potential treatment before making an appointment, just call and speak to one of our team.
