Northern Ireland dementia audit calls for better assessment of mobility

There are 19,000 people with dementia in Northern Ireland, but by 2051 this could reach 60,000, the report says

The audit was carried out between November 2014 and January 2015 in all 12 acute trusts in Northern Ireland that admit adults.

It also found that all wards reported good access to physiotherapy at least five days a week.
