Laura Brown, a Midlands-based NHS physiotherapist and director of Therapies Unite, received the award from Adapt, the professional network for physiotherapists involved in international health, at the CSP headquarters in November.

The money will be used to produce information leaflets about postural management for the parents and carers of children with disabilities in Puerto Vallarta, western Mexico.

‘There is so much more that can be done, through winning the award. I’m excited to be able to expand our services and to promote positive changes to educate and support families of children with disabilities,’ said Ms Brown.
