Belfast-based physio staff turn out for W@WD

Physios in Belfast teamed up with a local politician last week to show their support for Workout at Word Day (W@WD).

Belfast City councillor Jim McVeigh met Brendan McConaghy, lead physiotherapist in occupational health for Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, and other physio staff at an outdoor gym in Dunville Park.

Mr McConaghy and his colleagues explained why physical activity is important and helped the councillor to exercise.

Tom Sullivan, the CSP policy officer who helped to organise the event, said: ‘We’ve had a very a successful Workout at Work Day and I’m delighted by the support we’ve had.’
