Older People’s Day 2017

UK Older People’s Day (OPD) celebrates the achievements and contributions that older people make to our society and the economy.

For the fourth year, the CSP is urging members to get involved because the day is a great opportunity to show how physio prevents falls, reduces costs to the NHS and helps patients stay independent.

Use the day to promote physio locally

We know members are operating in a difficult financial climate and are under pressure to demonstrate value to budget-conscious healthcare decision makers.

OPD provides a chance to showcase the positive impact of physio so we are calling on all members to take part and seize this opportunity to influence at a local level.

Registration has now closed.

The process of planning, delivering and evaluating a OPD activity provides a great opportunity to build your CPD. The campaign helps you develop and evidence a range of behaviours, knowledge and skills that sit at the heart of physiotherapy practice.

You will find a collection of CPD templates to help you plan, record and evidence how OPD has contributed to your personal and professional development in your CSP ePortfolio account.
