National honours

A nominee for a National honour supported by the CSP shall be a Fellow or member of at least ten years' standing who by their work as a Chartered physiotherapist has contributed significantly to patients, their community and/or to a charitable or voluntary body.

National honours range from a Knighthood to a CBE, OBE or MBE.

The Professional Awards Committee encourages suggestions of eligible members who the Society might nominate for honours.

The Committee also considers requests from individuals and groups to provide letters of support on behalf of the Society for an existing nomination.
