Get organised

Become a workplace rep

Any Associate member of the CSP can become a rep – either a steward or Health & Safety rep. Full training and regular updates are given and you can represent any CSP member.

This is a great opportunity to get to know your employment rights first hand and build transferable skills to support your learning and development.

Become a learning champion

Help yours colleagues to learn and develop by raising awareness of learning opportunities and resources available. It will also help you to build your own CPD by developing new and transferable skills.

Join a committee or network

The Associate Committee

The Associate Committee comprises of associate members from across the UK, working in a variety of roles and bands elected to represent you. Contact the Enquiries Team on +44 20 7306 6666 to find out who your local representative is.

Professional networks

These specialist networks are recognised by the CSP though are self-governing and require separate membership. Subscriptions for associate members are available at a reduced fee. Most hold their own individual conferences and study days, helping to build your knowledge in specific clinical areas of interest.

Country Boards or English Regional Networks

These meetings are an opportunity for every member to share information, work together and learn from each other. The meetings are friendly, informative and useful for your role, workplace and CPD.

Get involved locally.

Short life working groups (SLWG)

The CSP often require a SLWG to ensure collaboration with the right members for specific pilots/projects.  SLWGs are an opportunity to be involved and share your particular skills and knowledge for a specific period of time.
