Celebrating 90 years for the Society

CSP guests at Somerset HouseSome 200 guests gathered in central London on Tuesday to mark nine decades of achievement by the CSP. The event was held to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the granting of the Society's Royal Charter.

More 'Healthy School Days'

The CSP has teamed up again with the British Dietetic Association to roll out some more Healthy School Days across the UK and promote its Fit for the Future information leaflet. Health minister Michael McGimpsey attended the Healthy School Day in Belfast with CSP chief executive Phil Gray.

Budget reaction

Unions including the CSP have strongly criticised some of the proposals in the new UK government's 'emergency' budget:
