How to search
- There is a search box at the top right on every page of the site.
- When you start typing suggestions will appear below the search box based on the words you are typing.
- You can click on a suggestion, or simply finish typing your search term.
- Click the magnifying glass icon to the right of the box to perform the search.
- If you mistype your search term a feature called ‘Did you mean’ located below the search box may offer alternatives words to try. To use these simply click on a word.
The results page
- The results are grouped, using tabs, by the main areas of the site, for example, CSP site, iCSP, Microsites and ‘My Region’.
- By default results are displayed based on where you initiated the search from, for example, if you searched from iCSP, you will see these results first.
- To see other results click on the relevant tab e.g. the ‘All results’ tab shows results from all areas of the site.
Filtering and ordering your results
- You can further filter your results by type of content using the links on the right hand side of the search results, to display, for example, only library catalogue items.
- To return to the full listing, click on the blue cross next to the filter you have selected.
- You can also order your results by date (most recent first) by clicking on the ‘Date’ link under the ‘Sort by’ heading.
- Click ‘Relevancy’ to return to the original order.
