Ishmael Beckford, clinical manager at the Crystal Palace Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre, gave some light massage and thoracic spine manipulation to actor Lenora Crichlow.
The film focuses on a group of female sprinters preparing to run for Great Britain in the World Championships. A key scene was shot at the National Sports Centre’s indoor running track, which is how Mr Beckford came to be involved.
Meanwhile, British Olympians Jeanette Kwakye and Shani Anderson were on hand to coach the Fast Girls throughout the making of the film, released last week.
A physiotherapist based at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London stepped in to treat an injured actor during the making of a feature film.
