NHS recognises its heroes

NHS staff who have been nominated by members of the public for showing exceptional compassion, effort and skill are being celebrated as ‘NHS Heroes’ at events throughout England.

Over 100 physiotherapy staff are among the 3,600 employees receiving certificates from NHS chief executive David Nicholson.
