The initiative will allow CSP members direct access to the ‘CINAHL Plus with Full Text’ database (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature), the world’s most comprehensive nursing and allied health research database.
The database contains more than 2.8 million records with selective full-text coverage dating back to 1937.
Sam Molloy, CSP information officer, said: ‘Over the years, members have requested that the CSP provide online access to journal articles so that they can access articles themselves and don’t need to send requests in to us.’
A new CSP webpage will explain how to access CINAHL and will also lists other resources linked to journal access and bibliographic databases.
These include additional online journals offered by Elsevier; links to open-access journals; the Eguidelines database and many more.
Information on how to access the resource is available on this website: Accessing online journals and databases
