Helping to ensure postgrad programme quality

The CSP's post-qualification programmes endorsement group is looking to appoint a new member.

The group is responsible for guiding the Society's quality assurance process at postgraduate level, paying particular attention to arrangements for programme endorsement and collaborative relationships.

Its role is to:

  • monitor developments and trends that may impact on the Society's quality assurance role at postgraduate level and feed the group's recommendations on policy change into the learning and development committee
  • oversee the nomination of representatives for involvement in the validation, accreditation and review processes operated by higher education institutes for particular postgraduate programmes
  • receive and consider representatives' advisory reports on validation and accreditation processes relating to postgraduate programmes and,
  • implement appropriate monitoring procedures for programmes endorsed by the Society and regularly review the effectiveness of these.
The remit of the group is currently under review. However, the role is expected to continue for at least one year. The group meets three or four times a year. Clinicians, managers and educators are welcome to apply.

Applicants should contact Nina Thomson, quality assurance administrator for CSP learning and development. Tel: 020 7306 6161 or email:
