CSP members say they are satisfied customers

Members have given the CSP a glowing report in the recent members’ survey, with three quarters reporting that they are happy with the service they receive.

The online survey, emailed to 9,000 members between 16 November and 17 December, found that 75 per cent of respondents were ‘fairly satisfied’ or ‘very satisfied’ with the service the CSP provides.

Fewer than one per cent were ‘very dissatisfied’.

The results represent a 26 per cent improvement in satisfaction over the last 10 years, with only 49 per cent of members saying they were satisfied in the 2000 survey.

A key corporate priority since 2005 has been to raise the profession’s profile and influence.

The survey found 80 per cent of respondents now feel the CSP is ‘fairly effective’ or ‘very effective’ at doing this.

Deputy chief executive Sue Browning said the aim was to monitor how the society was performing against its corporate strategy and plans.

Sue Browning said: ‘We’ve been working very hard at supporting members in their working lives and to provide them with the tools to promote what physiotherapy has to offer, so it’s particularly encouraging that members have recognised this.

‘With a challenging period on the horizon, we’re clear that our support will be more important than ever this year and we’ll be listening and working closely with our members to provide it.’
