Comment - Students’ special issue

Welcome to the latest issue of Frontline, which takes a special look at the issues facing student members.

If you’re one of the 2,500 first year students throughout the UK embarking on a physio course, you’ll find tips and inspiration here from those members who have recently qualified, or have used their CSP involvement to help build their careers.

Find out about the support the CSP and other student members can offer you.

Our article on housing costs (page 22) will resonate with all our members, but particularly those living in the south east.

As a professional body and union, the CSP is fighting for the highest clinical standards and appropriate recognition by employers of the work members do.

Most members trained in the NHS and many still work there. But the CSP also supports the growing number of physios working privately.

In a time of rapid change, you need to stay abreast of what’s happening in your profession.

Here at Frontline, we’ll help you do that, but make sure you’re plugged in to all the society has to offer its members (see page 65).

Comments are visible to CSP members only.
