How can I protect myself in case a patient complains to the police?

The law on legal aid was changed in 2010.

This means that the CSP cannot represent members in England and Wales at the Crown Court for a work-related allegation.

Members can purchase an optional Criminal Prosecution Defence Cost insurance package to cover the costs of defending themselves against a criminal allegation, both work-related and non-work-related.
