Shoulder and Elbow Conditions: Synergistic Working of the Surgeon and the AHP

In this evening course, Mr Dylan Griffiths, Consultant Shoulder & Elbow Surgeon, will begin by looking at the way that surgeons and other allied health professionals can work together to optimise patient outcomes, with the emphasis on shared knowledge and information. The first half will explore diagnosis through to post-operative rehabilitation; with topics such as shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, the impact of cervical spine on shoulder pain and vice versa, adhesive capsulitis and indications, as well as what can be expected following arthroplasty.
The second half of the evening will be based around a number of interesting shoulder and elbow clinical cases, which can be discussed from a multi-disciplinary perspective, building on the topics raised in the first half of the evening.
