Early Bird Booking Offer - Book this course now at a reduced cost of £32 + VAT - ending 02.01.18

Mr Muralidhar Bhat, Consultant Orthopaedic and Upper Limb Surgeon, brings to this evening course of hand pain 15 years of expertise assessing neck and upper limb pain and paresthesia. There will be emphasis on applied anatomy, history, examination technique and treatment. Mr Bhat will share his own experience and personal assessment tips to demystify some areas of hand pain. The course will cover common conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, De Quervain syndrome, trigger finger, ganglions and arthritis. Mr Bhat will also look further up the upper limb, touching on weakness and loss of function in the hand as a result of peripheral nerve compression and/or spinal/cerebral pathology. Finally he will look at lumps, bumps and ulcers in order to differentiate between ganglia, Dupuytren’s disease, giant cell tumours, cancers and arthritis.
Attendees can expect to take away from this evening increased confidence in the assessment of multiple co-existing pathologies, and also in differentiating diffuse and localised pain. Attendees will also learn simple and rapid examination techniques, as well as referral and management guidelines.
