Peer review form

Peer review is a common method of clinical supervision.

This form can be used to record evidence for HCPC, CPD,  KSF, appraisals etc however please note there are a number of more up-to-date resources, including various downloadable proformas to facilitate reflection, in the CPD resources workspace of the CSP ePortfolio system.  Information about the CPD resources workspace (how to find it, what you’ll find there) is available here.

A brief overview of clinical supervision is available, which may be worth reviewing to help you with the process.

The principles around good practice in clinical supervision are underpinned by three main resources:

1.      CSP Quality Assurance Standards for Physiotherapy Service Delivery, in particular section 3

2.      CSP Code of Members’ Professional Values and Behaviour, in particular section 4

3.      HCPC “Your guide to our standards of continuing professional development”

The CSP Physiotherapy Framework defines and describes the behaviours, knowledge and skills used by the physiotherapy workforce. The physiotherapy framework is available for members to use and also includes some downloadable forms to help you record the process and outcome of clinical supervision.
