WCPT Congress

The 15th International Congress of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy will take place in Vancouver, Canada from 2-6 June 2007. The Congress will be hosted by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and will take place at the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Delegates can set up a single user account on the WCPT's website which will enable them to register, book accommodation, social events/tours, and from early next year, view the whole Congress programme.

Online Registration and Housing

The Early Bird registration fee is available up until 28 February. Full details of all registration fees, plus online registration and hotel booking are available on the WCPT congress website.

Speaker Profiles

Internationally respected speakers from many areas of practice, research, education and management promise to provide delegates with a stimulating and thought provoking programme. No where else can physical therapists have access to this wealth of international expertise all in one place. You will find profiles of seven of these speakers in Issue Two of Speaker Profiles (attached) and more will feature in future issues.

Platform and Poster Presentations

The abstract submission deadline of 15 September has now passed. All individuals who submitted abstracts will be notified whether their presentation has been accepted by 31 January 2007.
