CSP Awards categories

We will present awards in each of the following categories:

Assistant of the Year

Nominate an Associate Assistant member of the Society (a support worker who is supervised by a qualified physiotherapist) for their contribution to the delivery of physiotherapy services. The assistant may be responsible for carrying out physiotherapy programmes and as such be responsible for motivating and facilitating the patient or client to achieve their physiotherapy goals.

Achievement of Excellence in Improving the Patient Experience

Nominate a Chartered physiotherapist if you feel that the contribution this physiotherapist makes to patient care is excellent or that they have changed a service so that the patient experience has significantly and positively improved.

Achievement of Excellence in Improving Service Delivery

Nominate a Chartered physiotherapist if you feel that the physiotherapist has significantly improved their local service and or its delivery. For example the achievement may be the use of evidence and research that underpins the service; it may be that patient outcomes are particularly improved; or it may be that because of the use of information management or use of technology or telecare the access or efficiency of a service has significantly improved.

Outstanding Newcomer of the Year

Nominate a newly qualified Chartered physiotherapist (no longer than 24 months qualified) who they feel has made an excellent and outstanding contribution to patient care through the delivery of a physiotherapy service. The contribution they have made is likely to be above and beyond what would normally be expected at this point post graduation, it may also have been in the face of adversity. For example, the achievement may be the creativity the individual used to overcome employment difficulties, using different opportunities to develop their learning in physiotherapy.
