Our NHS, our future - the NHS next stage review
The NHS Next Stage Review seeks to build on the progress made in delivering the vision set out in the NHS Plan (DH, 2000) and the Government's reform agenda, to identify the way forward for a 21st Century NHS which is clinically-driven, patient-centred and responsive to local communities. The review should help support local patients, staff and the public in making the changes they need and want in their local NHS.
By commenting on the proposals and being involved in local activities, members will be able promote the contribution that physiotherapy makes to improving the quality of life of patients and to the health service. Time is short, with Strategic Health Authorities (SHAs) collating responses during February 2008.
