Journals

There are approximately 200 journal titles housed in the CSP Learning Resource Centre (LRC). These include core physiotherapy journals, CSP clinical and occupational interest group newsletters and journals, conference proceedings and international physiotherapy titles, as well as a wide range of journals on health and issues relevant to the physiotherapy profession.

LRC journal holdings

To find out which journals we hold, go to our Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) website and do a journal title search. Entering a % sign will bring up a complete list of titles.

This will tell you the titles we stock and our holdings. A few of the print journals that we subscribe to also come with free full-text online access.

This is a member-only service, therefore if you are logged in to the OPAC you will be able to see the titles that come with free online access as the password details will be provided.

If you wish to order photocopies, forms, details of services and charges can be found on our copying services page.

E-Journals

OPAC also contains records for, and links to, freely available e-journals of relevance to physiotherapy: OPAC website.

Physiotherapy journal

From March 2004 Elsevier became the CSP publishing partner for Physiotherapy. Editorial control, advertising, distribution  and copyright remains with the CSP.

Elsevier now administers the publishing process, from submission of manuscripts through to publication in print and online. It is also responsible for marketing the Journal and handling subscriptions.

CSP members can get online access to back issues of Physiotherapy (Vol 81, 1995 onwards) from this website: see more on the Physiotherapy Journal page. Please remember to login first.

Frontline

Highlights and articles from 2005 (May) from Frontline magazine are available on this website: see the Frontline page.

If you work in the NHS the national electronic libraries provide access to a number of full text journals, this access is Athens password protected from the internet:
