Retirement Association
Our retirement association is a network for retired chartered physiotherapists and associates who wish to retain contact with each other and with their profession. Find out more here about what the association does and how you join.
Membership of the Association becomes automatic on transfer to the retired category of the CSP. The Retirement Association is developing a central organisation with regional/local groups. Meetings are arranged locally according to social or professional interests.
The CSP Retirement Association:
- represents the interests of retired members of the profession at all levels of activity
- provides a communication network for retired members
- compiles a directory of retired members of the profession, identifying areas of expertise and experience
- provides a conduit between membership of the Association and Council and Standing Committees of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- provides an historical perspective on current and future developments of the Society.
Membership
Admission to membership of the CSP Retirement Association shall be granted to any retired Chartered Physiotherapist member of the CSP or Associate member and is automatic upon entry to the retired category of membership. Non-CSP members are eligible to become honorary members of the Association. Local meetings can be arranged according to social or professional interests.
If you are interested in starting a local group please contact the CSP enquiries team via email: enquiries@csp.org.uk
