The CSP Charitable Trust
Upcoming funding deadline
Associate and qualified members wishing to apply to the CSP Charitable Trust for funds should note the 1 March deadline is fast approaching. You can get help towards the cost of academically accredited course fees and related expenses.
If you are a qualified member, you can also apply for help towards the cost of UK and overseas presentations, overseas development projects and research visits. Use the links on this page to find out more or send an email to Susan Williams at williamss@csp.org.uk if you have a query.
Please note that funding is not available for physiotherapy qualifying degree programmes.
The CSP Charitable Trust supports qualified and associate members undertaking formal programmes such as professional doctorates, research and masters degrees, nationally accredited courses, N/SVQs, BTEC awards, Open University courses and Access courses.

Additional funds for CSP members
The CSP Charitable Trust also provides other funding opportunities for qualified members for the following:
- UK Presentation Fund - presenting at conferences held in the UK
- International Lecture Fund - presenting at overseas conferences
- Baroness Robson Travel Scholarship - travelling overseas for educational or research purposes to develop their practice
- International Development Award - supporting overseas education and development projects
- Physiotherapy Research Foundation - undertaking research projects
The CSP Charitable Trust also provides funding opportunities for student members for the following:
- Joe Jeans Memorial Scholarship – funding for student members on overseas clinical placements
Decisions about which applications are to be funded are made by the Educational Awards Panel, the Scientific Panel and the Joe Jeans Panel.
