New students
For just 9p a day find out about the benefits of CSP membership
Congratulations on gaining a place on a physiotherapy degree programme. Student members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) find our services invaluable. Use this section of the site to put yourself in the picture
Why should you join the CSP?
How about Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) cover of up to £5million, support and advice from expert staff including a full time Students’ Officer, access to a fantastic online network and an automatic subscription to both the Physiotherapy journal quarterly and Frontline magazine every fortnight. These are just a few of the many great benefits that come with your CSP student subscription.
Still not convinced it's worth it? Then see for yourself on the benefits page in this section of the site for a comprehensive list.
How to join
You can now join the CSP online. Our page about applying has full details of what you need to do and a link to the online form. Please make sure you read all relevance guidance on the page before submitting your details.
Fees
- Your CSP student membership can be paid as one upfront fee for the whole of your course - £96 for a 3-year course - or in instalments of only £32 per year.
- A £20 joining fee is payable when you qualify and become a full member of the CSP. You then pay qualified member subscription fees.
- If you don’t take up CSP student membership, you will need to pay a higher joining fee of £195 to become a qualified member (and then pay qualified subscription fees).
Students who enrolled before 2007/8
If you enrolled on a physiotherapy programme before 2007/8 and have not yet taken up student membership, it is not too late! Please see the previously enrolled page in this section of the site for more details.
