Who can join? Membership is open to any chartered physiotherapist. Departmental membership allows one member to attend study days at a reduced rate and offers one vote at the AGM. Associate membership is offered to other professionals including physicists, podiatrists and other health professionals using electrotherapy, and equipment manufacturers.
What is expected of members? Members are expected to work within the guidance outlined in the current standards for the use of electrophysical modalities. Additional expectations are that they offer support to their peers, exchange information about new developments and research with other members and attend ACPIE study days.
How does the group support members' continuing professional development/lifelong learning? Peer support/mentorship
Telephone, email, and written queries are answered by members of the committee and advice is offered.

'Electrotherapy updates' is a two day course offered by ACPIE.
