Other databases of outcome measures

The Patient-assessed Health Instruments (PHI) web site is designed to inform the selection of patient-assessed health instruments through the provision of a bibliographic database and criteria to help users choose appropriate instruments. This web site is part of the National Centre for Health Outcomes Development (NCHOD) Knowledge Base. NCHOD is funded by the Department of Health. The PHI Database is a searchable bibliography comprising over 6000 abstracts that relate to the development and evaluation of instruments. The database has a number of facilities designed to enhance searches, including standardised instrument names.
