Strategic partnerships are developed in agreement with CSP's Council and help the Society work towards goals in the overall corporate plan.
With input from relevant CSP Committee representatives, our partnerships aim to link the Society with specialist organisations that recognise the value of the profession.
Furniture manufacturer Mammoth Technologies has signed an exclusive partnership deal with the CSP.
Under the partnership Mammoth Technologies has committed to seeking the advice of specialist physiotherapy experts as it develops new products.
The CSP link has already secured expert physiotherapist advice on a new seating range.
'I come from a background in healthcare,' says Mammoth boss John Tuton, 'So I'm passionate about providing the right comfort and support for better posture.
'We put innovation, testing and product development at the forefront of everything we do. Working with exert physiotherapists will help us develop products that meet our high aspirations.'
'Mammoth started their discussion with us from the point of principle that their products should be designed to take account of issues such as pressure relief and good posture,' says CSP marketing director Rob Yeldham.
'This has allowed us to break new ground. Working with Mammoth we’ve pioneered the use of specialist physiotherapists, nominated by the appropriate professional network, to offer advice to manufacturers.'
As part of the three year partnership Mammoth are making a financial contribution towards the work of the CSP.
