2018 Council elections

Could you be part of CSP’s Council? Nominate yourself now and you could help shape our future

Council members

Members elect 12 Council members to serve from April 2018, and the election process has now started.

Following the decision at the AGM to implement a new progressive governance model, our members are electing the CSP’s Council – it’s the governing body of the Society, with ultimate responsibility for its governance and administration.

The Council is the driving force behind the CSP. Council Members work with our staff team and set the Society’s strategy and the direction. It’s a really great opportunity for passionate members prepared to share their time, energy and ideas to get more involved in the Society’s work.

All fully paid-up members can stand for election to the Council. Council members bring invaluable experience and perspectives from all walks of life to the CSP. We need a diverse body to make sure the Society’s work can reach every member.

Members should be able to pick from candidates with different skills, backgrounds and a wide variety of professional experience. We want a Council that reflects the talent and breadth of our membership.

For more information about the role, check out the useful documents below, where you can also find out how to put yourself forward for nomination.

You only have until noon on 15 January 2018 to put yourself forward. This is your chance to help lead the CSP. Don’t miss it!

If you have any questions about standing for the CSP Council, then please contact us.

We’re looking forward to you getting involved!
